EasyStride: Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the EasyStride mobile application ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using EasyStride, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

1. License to Use

EasyStride is provided to you free of charge with optional premium features available via in-app purchase. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our written consent.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use EasyStride. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must also have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly allow users under 13 to create an account or use the app. If we learn that a user under 13 has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete that information.

3. In-App Purchases

EasyStride offers a premium subscription ("EasyStride All-Access") that unlocks additional features including ad-free experience, workout history, advanced analytics, custom plan builder, and warm-up and cool-down routines. Data export is available to all users free of charge. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and managed by RevenueCat. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may restore previous purchases on any device using the same Google account.

4. Advertising

The free version of EasyStride displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads may include banners and interstitials. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Upgrading to EasyStride All-Access removes all advertisements.

5. User Content and Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide, such as profile data and workout notes. You retain ownership of your workout data. By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the app's functionality. You may export or delete your data at any time.

6. Health and Safety Disclaimer

EasyStride is a fitness tracking tool and is not a medical device. The app provides general fitness guidance and tracking features only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program. You use the app at your own risk. We are not liable for any injury, health issue, or damage resulting from your use of the app or reliance on any information provided within it.

7. Location Data

EasyStride uses your device's GPS to track run routes, distance, and pace. Location data is collected only during active workout sessions and with your explicit permission. You may revoke location permissions at any time in your device settings. Revoking location permissions will disable GPS-based features but will not affect other app functionality.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the app, including ad-blocking in the free version without purchasing All-Access.

• Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the app.

• Interfere with the proper functioning of the app or its servers.

• Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

9. Third-Party Services

EasyStride integrates with third-party services including Google AdMob, Firebase, Supabase, Google Health Connect, Google Sign-In, and RevenueCat. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

10. Intellectual Property

EasyStride, including its design, code, graphics, training plans, and content, is the intellectual property of its developers. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission. Third-party trademarks and service marks referenced in the app are the property of their respective owners.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your data will never be lost. We do not warrant that the fitness guidance provided by the app is accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual needs.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
